A DIFFERENT WORLD

Boy, the old saying what a difference a day makes comes to mind,
Or in this case, a week.

Just last Monday, this was the scene out the boudoir window.
Grey, white and cold.

A sunny, mild and low 60 degrees greeted us this weekend.
Oh, happy hour... why not. Take it away Dinah.

  1. Wow, I thought our weather was Schizo but that doesn't even look like the same Scene, tho' I must say, the Snow Pix is magnificent, even tho' I don't miss having any. *winks* I was glad to hear your Dental Work got done and now you can Smile broadly, Eat all you want, and got your Boyish Figure back while having all the work done. I could use a few more pounds to get my Girlish Figure back... I'm getting there slowly but steadily.

  2. 84 and sunny here, sweetpea! We're singing that song, but for a different reason. Last week the heater was on, this week, the AC! xoxo

    1. I did sit a spell out back today...but no gardening yet. I have at least over a month till blooming and clean up starts. But it did feel good to get out. I even aired out the house.

  6. As much was I like warm weather, the snowy picture is pretty spectacular and magical. I love seeing a picture from a vantage point in each season. We should all come back to visit this point for all the seasons.

Now do me a favor and take some of our snow.

  9. Gosh what a transformation.
I adore Dinah Washington. Her voice is like a Ferrari, it can do 0 to 100 km/h in seconds

  11. What a difference, indeed! I hope this weeks starts getting us back to normalcy. I put markers around the property to indicate snow melt. It's going down fast!

    1. My nature wants to it's amazing how fast things can progress. We were in the middle of lockdown I thought it was amazing how quickly the earth started claiming back everything. The sad part was it was actually nice to see.

    2. I remember that during lockdown, too. The Paseo had things growing tall between the bricks and there were frogs hopping about. It was fascinating.
