What a better time to take in some art then at the end of the week. I came across this artist recently and I immediately loved the artist works and techniques and mediums. I think a series of these would look amazing in a gallery wall collage. The artist? Daryle Balcombe, who was born in England in 1977. After working as an illustrator for major publishing companies such as Readers Digest and DC Thompson, he has moved in the direction of his own fine art. I found he uses sketch, charcoals, water colors and even excels at photography.
With a busy work schedule, I only just saw snippets of the MTV Music Awards. And I shook my head in appalment again. Katy Perry seems to attract both success and controversy. Her latest? Semi-scissoring and kissing featured rapper Doechii at the VMA'S. There's a long list of performers who "spice up" their acts with same sex kisses and such. Madonna famously kissed Britney and Christina 20 years ago, but that got less attention. Conservative media called this act raunchy and depraved by Perry, but what I hate is the fake. To see Katy revive lesbian love on the screen annoys me because she's not a lesbian. But Doechii may be Bi, not sure. Neither is Madonna, Britney or Christina. A same sex kiss has joined the list of "wild" onstage antics, and one I find irritating just like non gay owned retailers selling LGBTQ product during gay pride month. Some see this as LGBT representation. Right...WITHOUT the queers! I see it as straight artist using the gays as, yet again, trend. Katy, Bad Bunny who I can give a past being gender fluid.... and Madge use gay as a schtick to seem outrageous. But gay to us isn't a schtick...it's our life, our sex lives and our passion. We're a minority who lack equal rights still and face some serious challenges ahead. None of these are addressed by this buffoonery.
Katy's song is called "I'm His", so this sapphic scene she did makes even less sense. Since many straight guys love girl on girl action, I wonder if this show was put on for them rather than us. Are publicists telling these stars to do this because they know it gets headlines? Straight artist: stop using our sexuality as as a way to spice up your tired old routines with empty controversy. After seeing Meghan Thee Stallion recreates Britney's snake routine from 2 decades ago, it really drove home the fact that they're out of ideas, just like the movies who have to keep adding sequels upon sequel, or remake of movies. And what really sucks is that you don't need gimmicks at all if like Jennnifer Hudson, Lediai, Alex Newell and Adele, etc, can thrill with just a beautiful voice. But the very idea of the Video Music Awards reminds us that before MTV, music was and could be appreciated with your ears, not your eyes.
It may shock some of you to know your Mistress can be racy and enjoys a nice no frills, no strings attitude for the taste of cock...or to get serviced... and I pride myself on my years and years and years of research, while others of you are probably thinking you're not shocked at all by this slut. For those of you who may not know, Dick Dock is a not-so-secret, secret spot, in Ptown, much like the Meat Racks in Fire Island, where, for decades, men have congregated to do many, manly things under the cloak of darkness. In other words; it's a cruising spot. A very popular cruising spot. I dare say a global well know spot. I have always been one to take a slice of life and experience what I can... and can say I do fancy myself at least one or two visits under the dock on my visits while in Ptown. I have always found this side of me exhilarating and can't help it. The famous outdoor spot is right under the Boatslip's boardwalk, which by day is packed at its fun poolside, and it's even more famous tea dances. But come late night, when the bars and pubs let out, it's a place most queens have been or deny they have been...a place for anonymous thrills in the dark under the dock of the Boatslip. Cops can show up every now and few, to shoo queens away, but they regroup almost immediately like a school of fish. A matter of fact, and not mentioning the clan member, but one year, years ago, one of the clan even "serviced" one of the policemen! I highly recommend a stop to the Dick Dock should you make it to Ptown, if for nothing more to just be a voyeur and say you saw it and heard the sounds of ecstasy. And if you choose to join in, it picks up and is busy from 1:30am-3am, once bars close. So.... you have your choice of pizza or penis. You can do Spiritus Pizza after if you're an efficient cock sucker, but just remember where your hands and mouth have been...and remember protection! And yes, your Mistress has been in some of those gridders!!!

I demand to know who I have to talk to , to have these weekends slowed down?!?!? I have another long week ahead, with probably some more over time. I enter the week very melancholy after saying goodbyes to many for another year, after seeing good friends and members of the Woods Community this weekend, yet another reminder that summer is coming to an end. It always takes me time to let summer go. But don't worry kids, I had a lovely time and ended the season with a "bang". And with a full moon approaching, let us hope the GOP crazies don't get any crazier!!! I still worry about how this election is going to pan out.
While I'm away for the weekend, in this post, I'll share a guest with you all each week, and you tell me in only three words what come to mind. This week one I grew up listening too at my grandmother's house, and one who would have been 102 yesterday.
My last trip to the Woods this weekend. I plan to dance my ass off Saturday night after judging the Miss Woods Show. I love having my church And I cut loose kids. I just hope the dj keeps the good stuff coming. I have steam to blow. Sophie Ellis Bextor comes to mind.
