It was one of those weekends where I was prepared to just relax for the most part, as the cold really set in. Sunshine seems to help, but it was still cold.I got a text from Mistress Maddie's #1 Fan who was to be nearby on Saturday, so I told him to stay over on Saturday. No real plans except to go into New Hope. With the cold tempts in was time to layer with some cashmere and finally wear my new paper boy hat!!!!
And break out my ankle boots......
As usual, there is always something impromptu to see on the way into New Hope like a sign that caught my eye for a barn sale!!!!! So I swerved across the road in the buggy and cut everybody off. Of course we had to investigate. I could have spent a small fortune, some interesting things to be seen, like that chandelier below, but since I don't own a money tree........

I talked MM#1 Fan into buying this old stable door. I told him to hang two towel bars on it, one on the top and one on the bottom for a cool towel rack. The whole thing will hang on the wall in his bathroom!!!
Anyone need a fur wrap??? It is getting cold!
Ohhhhhh some sparkles....... after going through the Christmas jumble I did find a treasure.
Afterward, we agreed we were chilled and went for espressos in town. ‘Expresso’ turned into strolling up and down the streets of New Hope, which slid into glasses of wine, and then some small plates at Lola's CafĂ© with a seat in the window to people watch into the early evening. It was nice to just sit and chat. I felt awake and it was nice letting life in for a few hours. And the purchase I got?
Remember those old bubble lights? I found this whole candelabra of bubble lights for the asking of $15! To be decorated with later this season!!
