MOOD BOARD

What a weekend! Wayyyyy too much eating, buckets of libations, just enough birthday revelry, and maybe one clandestine. Wonderful weather.  I looked myself over real good getting up at the guesthouse yesterday, and as long as I don't feel 55 or look it, I'm happy with that!!! The display case is holding up nicely if I say so. The parade was very fun and festive, and I got the vibe from the crowd everyone seems ready for happy days again. Could it have been an omen? Granted we were in Biden Country...but still, even overhearing some people who were even republicans...can't stand this party and administration. We got back in mid evening last night, and enjoyed some pints with a bonfire.... now two days to enjoy before heading back into the rat race. Hopefully a day to get caught up at the Casa, and then one day to relax.

Happy Monday one and all! I sounded cheerful today? Well you may be right...it is to be a short work week this week, as at week's end, I head with the clan to Rehoboth for a few days. My own weekend was a pretty good one, a blend of cozy and productive, filled with a healthy amount of thrilling horror movies, some therapeutic time under the sun, albeit a bit chilly out, gardening, and some light cooking, a huge stock pot of soup, and roasted veggies for dinner one night, and making a list for said weekend jolly, which already has me counting down the days. And I didn't watch any news. After last week it just gets worst, which has me thinking I really need to take up witchcraft, I already have the perfect witches hat... or in the very least make a deal with Papa Legba, to rid the world these bottom dwellers.

MOOD BOARD

 The weekend whizzed by yet again. I had two more birthdays to tend too of friends. There sure is a lot of October birthdays. The weekend started out with another happy hour with the clan after work on Friday, and then I had a birthday breakfast at Poached with another friend Saturday at noon...after that, the weekend was a wash. I got a wee bit done in the garden, but it was pretty much a down pour of rains and nasty weather late Saturday and all day Sunday. Good vegetation days I say. Read that as naps, horror movie viewing and only wearing underwear the rest of the weekend. Hell, I didn't even shave. Time to head to work again and make the magic happen.
