SEEN IN NEW HOPE

After another day at the pool and a tray of light nibbles, coffee and a side car... and your Mistress is refueled!!! It was a lovely weekend spent in New Hope with Daddy Warbucks, who arrived on Tuesday to my surprise. He is famous for a day's notice.

Here are some quick snaps of some sites from around our lovey hamlet....

Gots to love the various signs around town.....

Our friend Punk Rock's shop God Save the Qweens. She has a huge punk rock collection of British clothing, tees, and Doc Martins. Here is her door mat. That's her depicted on the mat. One never know what color her hair will be next.

a lovely collection of pretty floral ear bobs and pins.....

Drag queen Martini Madness seen, making a scene....

carriage ride anyone?

or a vintage car ride.....

meanwhile at the Raven.....any wonder it's home away from home?

my favorite bungalow home in New Hope.....

On Saturdays, the Oak Room Bar is packed with 150 gay men singing show tunes to a grand piano. Sounds like a gay men's chorus.

My delicious dinner from Saturday night....lamb!!!!

In amongst the already eccentric group of residents of our community, there is also a huge biker community...... just a small one....  as far as the eye can see....

At the other end of town was Jane Reynolds and the gals.....The Raven Invasion. A weekend long social retreat, and is known in the community as one of the most special Transexual social gatherings you’ll EVER experience! Hosted by Jane Reynolds, who carries the torch and continues to build upon what “godmother” Jen Bryant started and fostered into one of the most popular and unique TG social options on the east coast! New Hope is the perfect locale. It’s Trans-friendly, all while expressing your gender day and night all weekend long! We had a blast meeting some of them at the Raven Saturday night and dancing....Jane is here on the far left!

Our friend Richard contemplating what to do with a plastic pear. Wasn't asking either.

A random alley.....

A group of fun people at Karla's...and what a ham!!!!

BOY, I LOVE THIS TOWN!
