And while it's the weekend, lets hear the smooth slinky music of one of my favorites Ms.London to kick off the weekend shall we?

MY SECRET CRUSH....NICK FOLES

Now I'm not sure you may know this.... but our little ole' football team the Eagles is going to be in the Super Bowl this weekend. I know for one I am very excited....for I have had quite a crush on Nick Foles since he was with the Eagle the first around. 

Nick Foles is a football quarterback here for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Arizona, and was drafted by the Eagles in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He has also played for the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs.

Foles played his first game with the Eagles in Week 10 of the 2012 season after Michael Vick left with an injury. Foles then made his first start the following week. In Week 9 of the 2013 season, he became the second quarterback to post a perfect passer rating at 158.3 while passing for more than 400 yards, and also the first quarterback in NFL history to post a perfect passer rating and throw seven touchdowns in a single game. I bet that talk had some of you hard, or at least scratching your head. Bet you didn't think I could talk sports huh. Hell....... dears you'd be right!!!!!! All I know about football is that there is a brown ball they throw, the players wear very tight, tight, pants and there is 8 innings. But I have been crushing on Nick Foles...that is true. I do tend to watch when he plays, and I for one am tired of hearing the flack about him. He has played excellent to get the Eagles, no less to the Super Bowl. Hell, at least some Philly team made it to a big season championship game. I really do hope they win, they have played well and worked hard. And I would like to see Nick Foles a hero. But boy does me make me swoon ....what a tall drink of water, that big lug....

I may not be a good quarterback for him, but I can certainly be a good tight end. Meanwhile Nick...I send you good luck, best wishes and heartfelt vibes your way on the big day. Just know the Mistress will be sitting at the Casa du Borghese...watching. And crushing.

WIND DOWN WITH JULIE LONDON

 

With Valentine festivities over, how about we wind down with a glass of wine, or 5 and some of the fabulous singer Julie London...one of my all time favorites and hopefully one of yours. It don't get any sexier than this...

 

And apparently her or I are good girls. Could you pass the jam?

Beef & Drag Sunday Brunch

Oh Sunday, and who doesn't like a late Sunday Brunch with some Beef and Drag? The Mistress will be back with more after her brunch with friends, but in the meantime, I'm severing up some Beef and Drag of our own with the beef of........

Renato Ferreira, born in 1990, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a very tasty Brazilian model.At 5-foot-11 tall and incredible physique, Ferreira is one of the much sought-after male models from the prestigious stables of Ford Model Brazil. I don't know about you, but I think I'll finish him off like  cheesecake!

And the drag side of things with the stunning Vivienne Pinay! Beauty is everything for this fishy pin-up girl. A Big Apple bombshell, she's not above getting her perfectly manicured claws out if you get on her wrong side.

 

Of course any good establishment has some lovely atomsphere tune and why not some of sultry vocals of the talented Julie London and some Black Coffee.

 

Sophisticated Lady

The Mistress has always been a huge fan of Julie London. The Mistress as done many a number to her little diddy's and has several of her cd's, my favorite being the Sophisticated Lady cd set. If you like old retro and lounge music I highly recommend this cd set. It is a collection of all her best works. It's so relaxing to listen to. Julie London who has since passed on back in 2000 was a singer and a actress, and was best known for her smokey, sensual voice. As a singer she released more than 15 albums and she was at her peak in the 1950's, but her acting career lasted more than 35 years , ending with her role of nurse Dixie McCall RN on the popular show Emergency which was before my time. She also starred in more than 22 films. What a lengend!And a class act!
