And no, I have not seen the new incarnation since the original ended.

  1. I never liked "Sex and the City." Never liked any of the characters. They just all need a good slap, as far as I'm concerned.

    1. And it seems for at least three of them it's all day have going for them, they can't seem to get any other jobs except Sex in the City work. Which is why I think the meme is funny, Sarah Jessica Parker will probably still be playing Carrie Bradshaw when she's 93.

  2. I thought Faye Dunaway was dead! If we're lucky, so is SJP's career.

    1. The meme cracks me up. Faye looks like SJP as an old Carrie!!!!! She could play the old carrie.

    Never cared for SiC either.
Much preferred the original Tales of the City mini series from 1993 and its characters in San Francisco.

  5. I have never been a SATC superfan.
I did watch like, the first season back in the day, but SJP kinda gets on my nerves.

    XOXO

  6. If you haven't, do watch Deven Green's Gucci/Dunaway video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyhL5nh9tRc

    1. That was pretty funny Norma and on point like a Gucci ad. Who knew Faye had a sense of humor?

  7. I enjoyed Sex and the City for a bit, but I tired of the obsession. Too many people telling me they were Samantha. Which one are you? Dear god. Have no interest in seeing the latest incarnation. That Faye Dunaway image has now really scared me off.

  8. Let this show die...it doesn't even hold a candle to the original season.

  9. Faye Dunaway, as the old SJP, as the Mad Hatter???

  10. They lost me when the second movie came out. And now that the times have changed they just don't have the same appeal that they did a quarter century ago.

    1. I agree. At the time they were out the first time, they really captured the feel of living and moving along in big city living and swimming the dating pool. It was fun.

      That ship as sailed.

  11. When Sex and the City was first advertised, I was honestly expecting something much different 😂

My wife loves the OG series, like almost everyone she tolerates the new one
