Privatized, for-profit medical systems are inherently designed to leave the poorest people without medical care. Americans have tolerated that bullshit for too long and should have rioted in the streets decades ago. Mangione is on video, stalking and shooting that CEO in the back which is premeditated, first degree murder in any civilized country. He's no Robin Hood either and his actions are not justifiable. Would he be getting all this hero worship if he was a bald, 50 year old guy with a beer gut?
I agree Tundra! Still murder on both ends from both of them. I can't lie, why Luigi should have never done that, I also don't feel anything for the loser shot dead either. But being the drama queen I am, I'm all for the French Revolution methods...public hangings for murdering bastards and bring the guillotine back for the greedy, evil crooked bastards. First in line THE dUMP AND Elonia Musk. Part of me can understand why he did it. How much more will us milytoast take in the US if the powers that be won't do anything about it and other issues. The voters here are pains in the ass and keep voting for the same old politicians who don't get results... yet won't vote for any new candidates in fear of losing a seat. It's a no win-no win. A civil war is going to brew.
And that's just the beginning. I think we're going to see more CEOs shot up. The American people are rich in the end of their rope and have had enough.
Was it cold blooded ? How about the CEO who demanded his company to deny people’s claims for medical care, wouldn’t you call that cold blooded. Some of those people insured by his company died because of his demands, is that not murder ? At the time of his death this CEO Thompson was looking for further ways to deny more people claims for medical care. Mangione killed one person, we never hear how many deaths the CEO was responsible for, and it was a hell of a lot more than just one.:( -Rj
I too agree RJ . I hope no one expected tears from me over his death. Even doctors were saying he was a greedy and power-hungry individual. Hope he rots in hell.
That CEO’s denial of medical care to people insured by United Healthcare was just as rotten as Mangione pulling that trigger and even resulted in more deaths. Perhaps United Healthcare should be shut down for good so they do no more harm to anyone, after all murder is murder. Mangione is facing serious consequences for his actions, shouldn’t United Healthcare face consequences for their rotten behavior, there is no law that says they should be in business.
