Monday Moments

Here we are on Monday again,  but for some reason Mondays are more torable that Spring is here , now that Peresphone has returned from Hades, back to earth to be with her Mother Demeter. This is one of my favorite Greek stories. It's easier to get up with sun light,the smell of dew, and birds chripping! So glad the warmer temps are here and things are reborn again! More Guest Arrived- the Half Sisiter

 

Well it seems the fun just continues around the Casa du Borghese here! My apologies for not getting around lately...did I just hear myself right?

 

 Any who, my visit with my Russian was a very good time indeed, as we did some sight seeing and also spent some quality time together if you catch what I'm stepping in! I never even tired of that accent!  He departed last weekend. Then I get a call from my half sister who was coming from Virgina for a health conference. Yes dears ones, I have a half sister and half brother from my father's first marriage!!! So she departed today, and what a lovely  time catching up. She is married to a 6'4" Greek and has three kids! She,  like the Mistress,  likes her poison, but of Vodka, but unfortunately does not par take of the libation as frequently. Or houseboys. I swear too much fun lead her wrapped in a buffet doilies runner!!!!!!!

 

 

Now, I'm trying to get caught up around here......so in the mean time please help yourself to one of my secondary ancillary items..........

 

 

 

Florence at the Austin City Limits

 

When home on Saturday nights, I will usually engage in watching Austin City Limits, and last night was a episode I missed.....with the talented Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine. I loved watching her perform in her flowing gown and bare feet.....just like a girl dancing in private in her bedroom. And then there's that wonderfully talented voice...right up there next to Adele. And how magical it sounded gin infused.

This week in the Candy Shop is one of the Mistress most delectable, sweet and spicy South American treats........Edílson Nascimento! Nothing will melt in your hands or mouth faster!

Edilson comes from  a family of modest means in the northeastern state of Paraíba, Brazil. He grew up in the state capital, João Pessoa, in the Mangabeira neighborhood. From a very young age he loved sports, particularly the martial arts. He learned judo and eventually earned the highly coveted black belt. It was at a judo competition where Elian Gallardo, owner of Elian Gallardo Model agency in the city of Recife, spotted him and immediately recognized his potential as a model. Elian approached Edílson and invited him to sign with his agency. Now at 28 years old he still looks adorable and yummy as ever....no? And look at that smile........
