In and around the Casa du Borghese this Easter weekend. The above is in the park across from the Casa du Borghese. A lovely promenade had...and the beginning of what looks like a promising spring season in the gardens, along with a few touches of Easter finery. Now on to getting the lamb dinner started. It's been a wonderful weekend so far all told.
Happy Easter...and enjoy the delights of Spring.

DeleteHave a good day!
ReplyDeleteI adore cherry-blossom time! Ours is coming to an end slowly but surely - and the current blustery weather doesn't help. The streets are strewn with "nature's confetti". Jx
ReplyDeleteWhile it's prettier on the tree, Nature's confetti on the street and sometimes look just as pretty. Certainly better than the fake confetti. I love flowering trees too, but the alas their time is so short.
DeleteEverything where you live is just so PERFECTLY timed for Easter! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThe warm weather has definitely helped.
DeleteOur azaleas bloomed like mad this year, pinks and reds and whites; just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLooks to be another glorious year at the Casa du Borghese. Adore the Lefton rabbits. Oh this post is soooo good with eh magnolia and cherry blooms. And your weeping cherry is extra pink this year. Thank you for the reminder to slow down and explore nature.

DeleteNice, but I'm surprised you didn't include and pictures from the Easter Parade down 5th Avenue in NYC. Some of the hats were quite specatcular.
ReplyDeleteI have a few hats that would be Easter Parade 5th Avenue ready.
Deletedaffodils are my favorite. I want to die in spring to have some about me.
ReplyDeleteThat's why you should get some cut daffodils for your home, they make everything happy.

ReplyDeleteI'm still full from last night's dinner!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe Cherry blosoms are stunning!
ReplyDeleteSpring is sprung in Pennsylvania as well as Poshfordshire. My garden is full of Snake's Head Fritillaries and there is an amazing Camellia outside the window.

ReplyDeleteSorry to be late.
So busy on Easter Sunday, helping prep the house as we go all out on decorating. Had a great dinner of ham with all the fixings, and the kiddies luved their Easter baskets that I helped assemble. Thank God for 99 cent stores!
