What another weekend. Which means it must be Monday again. I just need to get through this week and part of next before holiday time, and I can't wait. This weekend we took a break from Pride festivities to take part in the No Kings Rally. While I wasn't in Philadelphia for the protest as I had just been for the Pride festivities, I hear it was the most attended in the country. The clan and I partook of the protest here in Harrisburg, where the rally started on City Island, and then the march commenced forward over the Walnut Street bridge and then people spread out all over Riverfront Park all along Front Street. Harrisburg turned out, we were activated. There had to be thousands, I have never seen this many people for a protest or march in Harrisburg like this before. It was beautiful, it's encouraging, it's why I live here currently, we believe in separation of church and state, we believe in democracy, we believe in due process, we believe in the three branches of government. We believe in happiness and hope for all. We will not be silenced. No kings! Never! Not in America. Here's to more, and even bigger protest! Everybody get out there! We are seeing the birth of a huge movement kids. As Anne Marie used to say...
RESIST, INSIST,PERSIST, ENLIST! ORGANIZE AND MOBILIZE.
ICE Barbie needs to go, too.
ReplyDeleteGood to see that the transgender mouse is making a comeback!
ReplyDeleteThe current winner of RuPauls Mouse Race.
DeleteOh, yes!
ReplyDeleteThe No Kings protests were ALL OVER. Glad you went to the Harrisburgh one. Here in Chi it was huge. Really.
Loved that for Mango Mussolini on his birthday. Now the thin skinned man child will be pissed off for days.
And I love the Sisters!!!
XOXO
Now get ready for the next round of revenge politics because his birthday parade was as small as his dick, larger by far were the No Kings protests. Now Shitler(saw it somewhere, love it) and the corpse brought back to life Stephen Miller will ramp up the ICE purges with the capable(?) help of Khaki Kamo Kristi Noem, looking radiant as always in her military couture, blood-red collagen-plumped lips and 3 inch talons( sorry dear, less is more, way too much jewelry, isn't wise to over-accessorize with a bazooka in your arms). What a bunch of dangerous bigots and racists!
DeleteI surmise when he doesn't get his way or the results he wants, he will take it out on the rest of us one way or another. That's been dictators do. He's a very vengeful person.
DeleteI like your moods - sparkles, booze and dick. And not necessarily in that order. Jx
ReplyDeletePS I saw some coverage of the pitiful audience for the elderly tangerine, and it did remind me of the dying days of the USSR at the end of the 80s. Quite a few of those "dictators-for-life" in the old Eastern Europe ended up hanged from lampposts or locked up. Just sayin'.
I agree with your comment Jon. First off those are my three favorite things, in any order!
DeleteI also agree about the parade looking like the Eastern Europe dictatorship parades. It just looked horrible and pitiful. Of course Trump's always behind the times. Which would explain why the party of rot wants to take us back to the olden days.
Love it all but especially the last man!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing Pouty Felon, Sleepy Mel, Hungover Pete, and Yawning Marco at this failure of a parade.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right, we have the streets and we will use them.
I didn't catch one glimpse of it.
DeleteNow that is a fun mood board, with your fun as always words. "And as far as ICE goes...it's better crushed; and in a glass with my gin." LMAO!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the man meats?!?!?!?! Glad to read you had a great weekend and got out there! Your right, the birth of a movement is happening before our eyes.
You had me with the first picture and then served lunch further down I see. A happy mood board indeed.
ReplyDeleteEach and every picture made me feel something....happy and horny henny! Happy Pride! How's about the turn out Saturday girl? Love those pick disco mirror heels.
ReplyDeleteGreat mood board!!!! I love the Glen Close gif and what follows it! My my my! To be young again. I enjoyed the Stonewall picture too. Been years for me to be there.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why, but I look forward to these post on Mondays. I always like seeing the selection of images. And who WOULDN'T LOVE that cock on your chin!!! No wonder Glen is Oh My Godding!!! LOL.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love a cock on the chin?
DeleteSo many more people attended the protests than did the sad, little parade. It cheers me up.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
We have the streets is right, and all the real people with smarts and any intelligence.
