DeleteWell, Raybeard, whilst having one of our historic long lunches once she did tell me that she got a kick out of me getting her riled up when I posted ABBA songs. She always said she couldn't take the sugary, peppy, upbeat sound of them, and that the over-the-top happiness drove her nuts. The only song she could ever take from them was Thank You for the Music. I can understand her dislike. It's probably like me when it comes to the Mariah Carey Christmas song she has. One time when lunching, an ABBA song once came on and I thought she'd blow! If I recollect her exact words were, "Oh my fucking god no! Not ABBA, I may puke."
