FROM THE CANDY SHOP

Don't think for a minute I gave up on men. My obsession is alive and well and healthier than ever. I just haven't had time to get the candy shop open you see. This visit to the candy shop however finds one hell of a sexy guy that always got my kitty purrrrring. Tanner Novlan! You say he looks familiar? Well, it's because you many recognize him from the Liberty Insurance commercials, and they always make me laugh my ass off. Not only is this guy hot as hell, but he has a great sense of humor in interviews I've seen and plays a cute idiot as well. Tanner Novlan started out as an underwear model, but is also an accomplished actor in numerous plays, and tv shows...but by God did he do a great job playing "Liberty Biberty." I absolutely hated the commercial when it first hit because they played it so damn much, then one day it hit me just how cute Tanner was and then couldn't get enough, and the follow ups had me in stiches with his attitude in them. The character is just a hot bumbling, fumbling idiot, but I'll take him any day, preferably in bed, over the damn limu emu any day!
He's also happily married with child, so I'll behave myself.
And those perfect lips!!!!

  1. He looks 18! But I looked him up and he’s actually 39. And that pissed me off even more that he looks 18.

Putting aside the fact that this man is heart-stopping gorgeous and definitely got an A+ in genetics, can we for a moment address the pale gray suit in the first photo. Does anyone really think the proportions and cut of that suit are anywhere close to achieving sartorial splendor? I know I'm showing my age because this is a style one often sees on twenty-somethings, but it always makes me think that they were hit on the head by a cinderblock and their bodies were compressed by 4 inches, like an accordion. Having sold suits for many years, I wonder why this too-tight fit and wrinkled finish is so popular. But then again, we still are in the age of cargo pants and shorts, and I can't understand that eother! A black leather belt would also have helped with the color palette. IMHO

    1. I can agree. Being a small guy of only 5'8" I have my suits bought and then fitted for me, but not too tight. I have a hell of a time finding suiting to fit me. At least he looks fairly handsome. I am too getting over the sloppy, shorts and sweatpants, ball caps and long beards thing. How much lazier can men get? They all look the same....Stepford Men! When I see a handsome clean cut man, dressed trendy or put together, I take notice. I don't mind loungers in the house, but in public, at least make an effort right?

    2. So few people these days have any idea what "style" means these days - and worse, nobody seems to care! Jx

  4. He is also on The Bold and The Beautiful and plays a shirtless doctor; well, a doctor who takes his shirt off a lot.
