SILLY SYMPHONIES
I know spring is coming now. Lately at the Casa I have noticed that many of the other birds except for the doves, which always dine in pairs, are visiting the sill in pairs. Which means babies will be on the way very shortly. I also just saw two Canadian geese walking the grounds. As much I would enjoy seeing little goslings running around, I must convince them that the fox family may make dinner of them. The activity with singing is already noisy, but welcoming to hear in the morning. I do believe spring is finally coming. For us kids at heart........

SKELETON DANCE
As we hear the chimes at midnight and bats flutter from a belfry; as a hound howls at the full moon and black cats brawl on the tombstones; Through the gloom, white skeletons pass, Running and leaping in their shrouds! In the film, four human skeletons dance and make music around a spooky graveyard—a modern film example of medieval European "danse macabre" imagery. It is the first entry in the Silly Symphony series, and a Halloween must!
Meanwhile while out at the Raven Halloween Party we saw this on the way from our first stop. Must have been a really long wait for the dinning establishments last night.

SILLY SYMPHONY
We know I love me birds, so when I came across this silly symphony, one of the most favorite and most famous from Disney, Who Killed Cock Robin, I wondered if this is what goes on in the bird world. The Red Tailed Hawk I hear is wanted around here. I also thought Anne Marie would enjoy the title.

SILLY SYMPHONIES
As we hear the chimes at midnight and bats flutter from a belfry, as a hound howls at the moon, and black cats brawl on the tombstones, skeletons spring to life in the classic Silly Symphony from 1929. Just in time for the holiday!

SILLY SYMPHONIES
It's been awhile since we had a Sunday mornin Silly Symphony. I used to love watching these as throw ins between my cartons when young, very early in the morning at my grandmother's house. This one titled, The Night Before Christmas is a 1933 animated short film produced by Walt Disney Productions. Part of the Silly Symphony series, the film is an adaptation of Clement Clarke Moore's poem A Visit from St. Nicholas, popularly called The Night Before Christmas.

SILLY SYMPHONIES
I do wish some network would plays these again in the mornings. With the warmer temperatures setting in I wonder if this is the scene out in the garden taking place? For I have seen one local active ant hill!

I'm taking it easy most of the day, then heading into Philly this evening for the Wanamaker Halloween Organ concert....and we know how scary organ music can be. Should be a frightful time. Then I'll be handing out my candy to the little beggars if any time permits. I have a few friends coming to watch horror movies and cock-a-tails ,so that should be fun.
If your home today, please take a minute to check out new acquaintance, Jon and his blog Cabinet of Curious Treasures. I love anyone who can embrace the Hallowe'en season with open arms. His blog is visual delight I tell ya.....and he has been curdling my blood now for two weeks with disturbing pictures!!! I love it!!!!
I also thought in the spirit, a lovely Hallowe'en gem to share with you all......
Excuse me now, while I go fix my first BLOODY Mary of the day.....ha, ha Bloody get it? Have a wonderful and frightful night......

JACK FROST VISITS
Happy Friday everybody!!!!
So, little Jack Frost get lost, get lost,
Little Jack Frost get lost, get lost
You don't do a thing but put the bite on my toes
There's lots of cold feet, all the lovers complain
You turn off the heat down in lover's lane
The fence in the park is all alone in the dark
So, little Jack Frost get lost, get lost,
So, little Jack Frost go away, go away
And don't you come back another day
Little Jack Frost get lost, get lost
You don't do a thing but put the bite on my toes
There's lots of cold feet, all the lovers complain
You turn off the heat down in lover's lane
The fence in the park is all alone in the dark
So, little Jack Frost get lost, get lost,
So, little Jack Frost go away, go away
And don't you come back another day
Opps, sorry, forgot someone might be here to here my best singing....
Currently at the Casa I received another 8 1/2" last night...... of snow, a wonderfully chilled 9 degrees , and winds of up to 45 mph!!!! So yes it's cold as hell out baby!!!! Later I'll have to take Buster out where I'll have to wear long underwear, jeans, four shirts, a sweater, two pairs of socks, coat, hat, gloves, scarves, and one hand made, from love, banana cozy, made from the talents of Princess, who was passing them out at Mistress MJ'S infamous house of smut, the Infomaniac . I just hope it fits. Nothing worst then long John and the boys getting frost bit! When I take my pup out maybe I'll share some picture with you of our snow-venure! But I know one thing...today to warm my cockles, it might take a few trips of the shaker......
