I see you let the bitchy one wear your fine stiletto heels. And don’t tell me he’s drinking your finest wine !
Is that fine assed Arnulfo looking through the palms ?! And is that your fine assed French pool boy waiting to have his suntan lotion applied by the pool ?! I must have them both for a visit to my summer pool party. :-)

  7. Your blog in particular is highly probably soon going to become a 'victim' of our country's new age-verfication laws, just started day before yesterday (1st) - 'Protecting children from potentially 'damaging' material' - so it MIGHT shortly be a bit of a hassle to our getting here. There's a great anti-this-law rumpus about 'freedom of expression' here at the moment which is being ignored by our current 'socialist'(!) government. Anyway, just notifying you that you COULD shortly be noticing a smallish(?) absence of your U.K. fans, though I do hope it really won't come to that.

    1. Oh Raybread, I do hope your wrong. I would miss my UK audience badly and I have so many from there who comment or just read. It has even happened here, as I know many bloggers who have issues with login into blogs, and those on Wordpress? I almost impossible for them to even comment. Like you said it's a process for them to just log in to comment. But not to worry, I'd still check in to see if your behaving!

    2. I started to get a bit worried, so went off to do some research:

...a spokesperson for Ofcom said: "Under Section 55 of the Online Safety Act, comments and reviews on provider content on user-to-user services are exempt from the safety duties (i.e. are excluded from the definition of 'regulated user-generated content'). 'Provider content' means content published on the service by the provider of the service, or by a person acting on their behalf. The 'provider' refers to the entity or individual that has control over who can use the user-to-user part of the service (see Section 226 of the Act).

"So in practice, if a blog and the platform on which it is posted are controlled by the writer of the blog, then the blog constitutes provider content, and comments and reviews on the blog are exempt. This exemption also extends to any further comments on such comments or reviews."

Apparently that means that bloggers are safe, but Google itself has to be wary. It's already got "adult content" checks, so probably it'll be "business as usual".

      Jx

PS The difficulties people have in commenting on Blogger or Wordpress are mainly due to tracking prevention filters on the browser (rather than the sites themselves), which can be switched off.
