MOOD BOARD

It looks as though spring is coming. While not too many garden delights yet...the lawn crocus came out from nowhere it seems overnight. I like spring but could have used a few more weeks of it getting dark early. Helps to wind me down to relax when it's dark. When it's still light out, I feel as though I should still be doing some chores or things around the house. And of course, with the spring and warmer temps arriving, that means the Mistress's libido will be going into overdrive. On to Monday....

Spring appears to be coming, things could be looking up!
Happy Monday all.

  2. Actually, we're only going to have Spring for a day or two, by Thursday the temps drop back to normal.

  4. Always a delight to see Rosalind Russell leading off the mood board this morning, elegantly attired in "Auntie Mame's" widow's weeds, designed by the prolific Orry-Kelly. Russell's entire wardrobe for the movie was exceptional, and although this outfit looks plain and somber, when she took off the wrap and turned around, the back of the dress was bare and tapered down to a "vee" with a nosegay of violets perched suggestively at the top of her bum. Always a treat to see that movie which remains one of my favorites for fashion design.

    1. Auntie Mame is probably my FAVORITE movie of all time!!!!! Followed very closely by The Women. I enjoyed them all in the film, but the Countess Da Lave and Miriam Aarons were my favorite. I see a lot of myself in them....not to mention Mame Dennis.

  8. I think that the polyps they removed from me last week were my batteries, so I've been like that dog. I'll also be heading into a new decade come this Friday and early Spring is trying to make me cough up a lung. Other than that, bring on the desserts and sexy times! Woo *cough* Hoo!

In So Cal, spring and daylight saving time have sprung !
The Felix the Cat sign of Felix Chevrolet is still there on South Figueroa in Los Angeles by USC and the nearby landmarks of the Doheny Mansion , St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and St John’s Episcopal Cathedral.

  14. Love this mood board!!!! Those men and those rooms are scrumptious! And Cate Blanchet! She and her style as Lady Tremaine are what saved Cinderella from being a huge disaster. She looked stunning in that movie.

  17. You do these boards so well Mistress! Those two rooms are just so chic yet comfortable looking. This is a wonderful mood board this week. Our snow is just now about gone, and it has gotten warm. I like summer, but I hate the getting dark late time. It's often hard to get to sleep when it's still light out sometimes. But I'm looking forward to spring flowers. Now pass me some of these desserts!

  18. I LOVE the picture of the lady with the fringe bell bottoms! That outfit is sexy! You find the nest pictures. I really liked the story this week. The "landscape" were breathtaking and the nature pictures weren't bad either, lol.
