Joy by name and pure joy to listen to. I had never heard of her but I love her voice.
ReplyDeleteyou can hear the influence of the greats that have gone before her especially Sarah Vaughan but she is very much her woman. She is fabulous and certainly has given me some Joy this morning.
So glad you enjoyed her. The first time I heard her sing, I was in shock by her voice.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter introduced me her about two months ago and I was blown aways by her voice and music. A rare talent to hear a voice like this today. She’s making the jazz singing ancestors proud!!👏🏾
