LATE NIGHT...MOLLY AND KETCH

My music taste is all over the place, cards on the table...I actually enjoy some bluegrass and folk from time to time. These two Grammy winners Molly Tuttle and Ketch Secor did a rare set together with Molly's band Golden Highway recorded live at the Analog. Great songs and some very cutting-edge issues and some slings at politicians. I especially love Downhome Dispensary at the 17:58 mark and Louder Than Guns at the 29:01 mark. A duo with great energy, liveliness and great messages.

  1. Give me small talented folk like this any day over heavily produced studio artist. And I thoroughly enjoyed the Downhome Dispensary song. What a hoot of a song and not untrue.

  4. I like all kinds of music, of course some more than others. I am not a rap fan, though some I find interesting. I am a lyric person and if the words touch me then I usually like the song.
That's why I'm liking these two and thank you for sharing them.

  6. Something different!!!! Thank you. I feel for artist like this. Unless it all flash and big studio produce, no one seems to want to listen which is quite sad. They were very entertaining....I even toe tapped. Ketch has some incredible energy.
