Years ago, a fashion show as all about sitting in a salon parlor, and after, having close up views in private rooms for the clients to see the products and to touch, feel and hopefully purchase. These days they are in big venues, and huge theatrical productions. This might be D-Squared's best runway show I have seen, for the upcoming 2025 spring summer season. The first thing I fell in love with was the lightweight tan leather coat at the 6:12 point. So versatile. Up next at the 6:49 moment, I knew I'd have to have those tan leather pants, and don't think for a moment I wouldn't wear them. I even like the one shoulder knit, but not sure where I would wear that but a club probably. But the pants? Ribbed knits, lightweight gauze shirts, a wife beater with denim shirt open, or chucky turtlenecks, to take them into the winter, I would wear with them. Then I lost it and was squealing with delight over the ensemble at the 7:23 mark! Would totally wear that!!!! Those shorts and knit v neck are HOT!!! I'd wear them for the next meeting with Cali Boi! Would I get looks wearing this? Yes and screw it! Here's to summer of 2025!
Hard to tell the men in wife beaters from the men with no shirts at all. Either way is worth a close-up view in private.
ReplyDeleteI think you just want to un-lace the shorts. But some of the boys are adorable.
DeleteLOVE IT!!!! Many pieces work on their own. But what makes you think your front and back assets would even fit in those pants??????
ReplyDeleteyou'd be amazed at what the mistress can squeeze into with some gun oil.
DeleteNow THAT could be a two handed job! Bwahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
DeleteMS MOORECOCK!!!!!!!!!!! Don't give out ALL MY PERSONAL DEETS!!!!
DeleteClassy, in an inexpensive cheesy way. But I did like the subdue tones of tans and camels and I live in black. Do it Mistress....get that deep v neck and leather lace up shorts!
ReplyDeleteGreat show except for that god awful set of seating. Love those pants too!!!! I couldn't pull them off though. Now you could, or I could pull them off you?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a deal to me!!!! WINK!
DeleteAt least the music is good. But someone feed those boys a steak or two.
ReplyDeleteI think they spend too much time on Mykonos myself. I liked some pieces, but D-Squared isn't what it used be. if one has 9 to 10 pieces you have pretty much the collection. Nothing in here for them I don't think. But if you get the pants or shorts, can we get pictures please.
ReplyDeletePretty please?
Fork over the funds of the pants and I will!!! LOL!
DeleteLove it, except the opening. The clothes were great, but no black for spring and summer. I could see you totally wearing the deep v and lace up shorts.... but in a color for spring. Queens at the gay destinations would totally wear that if in came in summer colors. Black and blah is for the winter, we don't need to see it in the spring and summer too. And those tan pants and jacket you like could be wore all year really.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty spectacular, starting with the Las Vegas Chippendales style opening. The two designers at the end, I assume are D-Square. Are they twins?
ReplyDeleteYes Shirley that is them! They are twin gay brothers. Their names are Dean and Dan Caten and are about as close as two people can be. At almost 60 years old, the twins even live together and sleep in the same bed — a revelation that set the fashion world buzzing years ago. Their closeness is partly the result of their shared and traumatic childhoods. They are handsome. I have seen them look downright sexy and rough and sloppy looking.
DeleteLove it! I can recall when Bloomindales used to have a huge DSquared shop. Last summer I got a two-tone beaded speedo from them. Fit great. I had more compliments on it.
ReplyDeletePlease submit a picture so we have it for the spank bank!
DeleteFashion or Fetish? A fine line. And nothing for the full figured bears.
ReplyDelete&:23 and the one right after ... yes, please.
ReplyDeleteThat should say 7:23
DeleteYes!!!!!! That is the one I would totally wear!!!!!!!!!!!!! at 7:23!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteMads, you in those tan leather pants would leave absolutely nothing left to the imagination! My mind now wonders..... where was I? Oh. Love their clothes here. I went to their boutique once, nothing fit me, not even the jeans. Im much too big. They must be made for small, slender and elfin gay boys.
ReplyDeleteThat was performance art! There were some things I loved and would wear, others I did NOT love. We’ve come a long way since our new foundation garment, zips up the back, no bones.
ReplyDeleteIm gonna need a glass of water.
ReplyDeleteFascinating.
ReplyDeleteLove D'Squared. And I love you man who can filled out pants.
