THE CROWNING QUEEN

The four queens remaining in RuPaul’s Drag Race  have poured their blood, sweat and sequins into the competition. And in less than 7 hours, all that hard work will finally pay off… for one of them, anyway. I loved the reunion, and Miss Vannnnnjie….. and was surprised by my initial predications of who would end up in the top five. My only one I didn't know would make it was Eureka O Hara. I adore her, but I also know the history of this show and big girls. All the girls I wanted in top five made it, with exemption of Mayhem Miller. Seems I had her and Eureka switched. This is really down to two queens in my opinion.

KAMERON MICHAELS

Though her fellow queens have accused her of being fake — I believe “faces of many!” were the exact words Monique Heart used to describe her approach to playing the game — Kameron has proven herself to be the true survivor of Season 10. Often down, but never out, this comeback queen had sent several of this season’s toughest competitors home with her sickening lip syncs., and even more over the top ensembles.I commend her on making it this far in the competition, but if I’m being real, I don’t see her moving beyond fourth place. As much as I adore her and can understand her bout with being ambivert, which I have a touch of myself,  will she be bringing anything new compared to the other three?

AQUARIA

When it comes to runway looks, no one else in Season 10 can hold a candle to “the bitch from New York City,” already heralded by the judges as one of the five most stylish queens in Drag Race herstory. She also boasts the most in-season wins, taking home top honors for her climate change ensembles, her “evil twin” look, and, of course, her unforgettable performance as Melania Trump in Snatch Game. As I just mentioned, I could see — and would be perfectly content with — Aquaria bringing home the crown. And she proved she can perform and did open up, But I'm still not sold completely on her personality 100%. But when I heard she would be on, I knew she would place top 3.

EUREKA

After shaking off those residual nerves from her injury in Season 9, the self-proclaimed Elephant Queen found her power, trampling the other contestants with a series of well-deserved wins. From Big Fat Baby to the butch persona she used to promote “Trade,” Eureka has served up some of the season’s funniest, most unforgettable moments, not to mention some jaw dropping drag style and represented the big girls well. Besides, as Kalorie Karbdashian pointed out during last week’s reunion, it’s time for a big girl to win this thing. If Latrice Royale or Ginger Minj couldn't take it...I'm all for Eureka taking it! I’m personally hoping to see Eureka come out on top, and I hope she takes the crown. When I go to a drag show, she is what I look for, and she is very personable after shows to and will mingle with all. Her Instagram's are amazing with many moving messages.

ASIA O’HARA

A shining example of how all humans should treat one another, Asia has been the picture of grace and compassion all season — you know, excluding that time she declared Miz Cracker “not a star,” sending her into a months-long depression. She also proved herself to be one of the funnier finalists, winning challenges like “Tap That App” (that face still haunts my dreams!) and “Breastworld.” While I don’t see her going all the way, I predict a solid third-place finish, and I’ll throw in the title of Miss Congeniality at no additional cost or jewels.

So I basically think Eureka and Aquaria are the two ground breakers with a Eureka win.
Which of these four queens do you think will win???

  1. As much as I enjoy drag and doing it, if Eureka doesn't win, I may not watch another season. Aquaria is stunning and editorial, and I love her, but she is not the complete package.

  2. Up to this point I liked Aquaria. But being at NYC Pride this weekend...Eureka's presence was through the roof!!!! And she definelty took the time to mingle with the crowd when the floats stopped. A real crowd pleaser.

  3. I'm torn just the same as you ...Eureka and Aquaria, though i lean a little, a LITTLE, more Aquaria.

  4. I would like Eureka to win. She was the most talented by far. Kameron got lucky to be in the final 4. She blended into the background so much that you didn’t know she was there and when they were down to the final few and she couldn’t hide anymore,

  5. I think Eureka should win, but probably Aquaria will win even though her personality is a dud. It’s time for a big queen to take the crown. There have been 9 seasons of regular and 3 seasons of all-stars with no big girl wins. Personally, I thought Ginger Minj and Lattrice got stiffed…twice!

  6. i don't care which three win, as long as it's not aquaria. no surprise I think she's a cunt. zero personality at shows.

I wouldn’t mind Asia winning since she’s from Texas but I also wouldn't mind Eureka. Aquaria is really pretty with fierce looks but, again, not much there. Drag isn’t just about looking good. He needs to go be a runway model.

  8. I was rooting for Asia, being from Texas and all, right up until she trashed poor Miz Cracker. So now Asia is number 4.

Sorry, but Eureka seems fun, but it's all about Eureka. And there were hints of passive aggressiveness there when the contest got too close, where Eureka would say I want to be your friend then turn around and say I'm not here to be your friend, I'm here to win, so screw y'all. Plus, Eureka has the weakest fashion of the four left. Eureka is old school, seen it before style, like classic 80s. Nice, not groundbreaking. The other three show much more imagination and daring.

Kameron Michaels is a survivor. That alone makes him a worthy winner. His fashions, the really out of the box, fantastic, out of this world looks makes him a standout and a master artist crafting masterpiece after masterpiece.

I like that Aquaria, as the youngest, grew up the most on the show, in how to relate and communicate with others. He took criticism and learned from his missteps and was always improving as a person and performer. And he is the most fashionable, most daring, and most stunning of all the looks in the history of the show. He is funny, smart, and he knows when to admit he was wrong and is honest about his opinions. Mayhem is right. Aquaria is the future of drag, and the future is now. It is the dawning of the Age of Aquaria, and it's a fabulous, spectacular, dazzling age.

And if I recall, Aquaria is from Philadelphia!

  9. I enjoyed Kameron, but you can go to any club and see her type of drag. It's a dime a dozen. I feel like Aquaria and Eureka will be left standing too. I have seen Aquaria here, she looks incredible, but her show always leaves me saying was that it? Ill be happy with either of then winning.

  10. I still want Miz Cracker gurl!!!!!

She was robbed. She should be here not Kameron. Eureka like Bianca, Jinkx, Sharon and Sasha and Alaska have more to them to break off to do more and use their own voices to sing, have sick looks, and can do comedy. The ones with the multi talent are currently cleaning up on the drag circuit.

I'd be happy with Aquaria winning, who knows she may change more....but her shows currently are more pop then wow. But I do adore her.

    1. I was rooting for Miz Cracker to win, too! She should've won the first challenge and so many after! Loved her style, personality, sense of humor, and her lip sync! Out of all the contestants, she was just gorgeous!

  11. I'm sooo confused! I'm happy that you all seem to be enjoying all of this. I think as far as reality shows go, I'll stick with Vegas Cakes and the like :)

    1. Vegas Cakes? Cakes as in the asses of fine male Vegas strippers? If so I may be interested.

    2. Maddie, get your mind outta the butt..er! They don't have that kind of show on the Food Network! They make cakes for special occasions and it's hard to believe that most of them are actually cakes.

  12. I'll go for Kameron. Personally I didn't see a difference between Sharon Needles and Aquaria...both Avant gaud. So her winning wouldn't be anything new.

  13. From the beginning, this season was set up for Aquaria to win by the editors. You could tell.

  14. We'll hand Eureka the win for the Nicki Minaj rap portion. She showed the most furiously during the verse, but while she's always an entertaining lip syncer she ended up reusing many tricks we've already seen. Kameron does as well, and with nothing new planned other than a removable skirt,again….. she sort of fades into the background, as usual. It's Aquaria, however, who commands attention from the beginning with the execution of a literally lightning bolt and keeps it all the way through the end with the pop off of a confetti cannon. We never really had any question who had it in the bag, and with that, the show restores our faith in the idea the queen who actually has THE BEST track record during the season should win. Now, maybe it could work on restoring some faith in other areas as well.

That being said did Aquaria really do anything new or ground breaking? No. Really just another queen doing a Lady Gaga rip off. But Aquaria did put on a good show. Just hope she blossoms more in the personality department.

  15. I love Rupaul and what she stands for. But I really feel she has a issue with fat people! I think this year was the first time for a big girl to make it to the end but of course didn’t win. Very disappointed!!! And I am a big black natural female who looks upto the big girl queens. This was the third time a big girl should have won, but didn't. How are these queens to compete with a thin rail who can move like lightening? That's it for tonight.

  16. Aquaria was always going to win from the beginning. The last few winners have been more editorial. I think they are forgetting drag is about camp, not a fishy looking girl. But I’m glad they paraded out season ones cast. It reminded me how amazing the show used to be, like a campy, average bunch of queens in a drag show.

  17. I rooted for Eureka - because as a big person she actually brings style and grace to the stage. It would've been nice to have her win and for RuPaul & Panel to let the world know that large people shouldn't be discriminated against simply because of size. Ah, well....maybe next time, eh?

Go ahead darling, tell me something fabulous!
