MEANWHILE AT THE CASA DU BORGHESE

With what was a lovely, spectacular weekend, the Mistress decided to get outdoors and do some of the grounds work and clean up. Why was I doing it? Well, first off Ms. Moorecock was of no help, not even to be found. I believe she got lost in the shuffle Friday night over at the Raven Resort, and the houseboys are on spring break currently. I do like to give them a break now and then. But never let it be said I can't do some  trimming and some domestic work now and then. Of course as any occasion around here, I always dress.

No gas mower for me....it's all about the environment, and I love a good vintage mower....

Be-bugging the Rhododendron. For once I was captured in this bush in a un-comprising position.

My advice with yard work is to stop once in a while to smell the flowers...and enjoy a gin and tonic.

trimming those bushes!

Handling a big stick, has never been a problem for me. I can handle the wood as much as the next person.

Not to worry though...it was all done and life was back to normal......

  10. What a magnificent stately home, Mistress! I don't think you should trim your bushes yourself, though. Isn't there a strong-armed servant lad who'll trim them for you?

  12. I must always leave the yard work to the yard boy. If I don't, why, he gets upset because I always do it wrong! Hugs!!!

  14. Mistress, I always knew you had such fabulous style. No wonder your neighbors are so jealous. Not anyone can just mow grass in a Escaada gown.

No one can wear a headscarf like you can. Just saying.
